Privacy Notice for the Moloni Display app
This Privacy Notice is intended to help you understand how Moloni processes your personal data when using the Moloni Display app, available for Android (and, where applicable, iOS), as a digital signage solution for displaying menus, promotions, news, and order status.
Roles and Responsibilities
Moloni Unipessoal, Lda. is an integral part of the Visma Group, a Norwegian group of software development companies. Moloni acts as the data controller for personal data related to your account and app usage (authentication, support, security, and subscription billing). When you use the app to process personal data of third parties within the scope of managing your business (e.g. employees, customers), Moloni acts as a data processor, under the terms of the service agreement and data processing agreement concluded with your organisation, which remains the data controller for such processing.

Processing Activities
Data Processed for Service Provision
This app displays, on screens managed by your business, content that you configure through your Moloni account (such as menus, promotions, and news) and, when integrated with Moloni POS or Moloni Orders, order status. The collection of personal data from end customers is not envisaged, as the app presents only content defined by the professional account user.
The lawful basis for this processing is the performance of the service contract you have with Moloni, pursuant to GDPR Article 6(1)(b), and may also be based on legal obligations regarding tax and invoicing matters, pursuant to point (c) of the same article, where applicable.

Device Permissions
The app may require access to the local network/Wi-Fi of the establishment in order to pair and synchronise the display device with your Moloni account.
App Improvement and Security
We strive to ensure that the app operates correctly and securely. In this context, we note that this app does not collect diagnostic data, usage data, or device identifiers for its own analytics, advertising, or error detection purposes, distinct from the data processed for service provision described above.

Your Rights
You may invoke the following rights regarding our processing of your personal data:

- Restriction: You may ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data.
