Mid UX/UI Designer - Vila Real
Do you love transforming the complex into incredibly simple and intuitive visual and interactive experiences? At Moloni, we're revolutionising the way businesses manage their operations, and we are looking for a UX/UI Designer with proven experience to be the visual "architect" of our innovation.

We are seeking a professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience, who is passionate about designing interfaces that are not only functional but elevate the user experience to a new level. If your portfolio shows a history of creating user-centred design solutions and you feel ready to apply your knowledge to simplify complex processes, this is your opportunity.

What you'll do

You will collaborate not only with the Design team but also with the Communication & Marketing, Product, and Customer Support teams. Your responsibilities will be divided into three main areas:

1. Design conception and execution

  • Lead the design cycle from the exploration of initial concepts and ideas to the final delivery of high-fidelity user interfaces (UI), ready for implementation.
  • Create and refine user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that help to visualise and validate the proposed solutions.
  • Ensure a high standard of visual quality and usability on every screen, applying best practices to create intuitive and visually appealing experiences.

2. Strategy, research, and collaboration

  • Work in close collaboration with product management and development teams to align user needs with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Plan and execute research methodologies, such as usability tests, interviews, and metric analysis, to base design decisions on real feedback and concrete data.
  • Present and defend design proposals clearly and persuasively to teams and stakeholders, articulating the logic and value behind each decision.

3. Process and system optimisation

  • Manage the maintenance and evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency in the development of all company products.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation on the system's components, design patterns, and usage guidelines, empowering teams to work more autonomously.
  • Analyse the performance of implemented solutions and use feedback to constantly iterate and refine designs, cultivating a culture of permanent user experience optimisation.

What we're looking for

We are seeking someone with a portfolio that demonstrates their skills and combines analytical thinking with creativity and empathy.

Essential Requirements

  • A degree in Design or a similar field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a UX/UI Designer.
  • Understanding of user-centred design principles.
  • Proven experience in designing and creating attractive and functional user interfaces, considering the customer journey.
  • Design systems (with a focus on Atomic Design principles).
  • Advanced knowledge of design tools, namely Figma and Adobe XD or similar.
  • Proactive, organised, and with a strong sense of commitment.
  • Good problem-solving and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Fluency in written English.

It would be a plus if you have:

  • Experience in usability testing, including planning, conducting tests with users, analysing results, and applying UX improvement techniques.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.

  • Balance: A 4.5-day work week (36h) and a flexible hybrid model (2 days in the office, 2.5 days wherever you like).
